Today, I created my first stop motion animation video on iMovie. I teach in a new entrants class so decided to base it around children starting out on their first day at school. It was great to be able to get creative and once again explore the different features of iMovie - especially the voice effects, which I have used throughout the video. I am looking forward to sharing this video with my learners on Monday!
Welcome to my blog! This year I am teaching year 3 in a collaborative 1:1 digital iPad class at Pt England School in Auckland NZ.

Cool! Awesome way of getting your learners thinking about shapes in everyday life! Love the voices too!!! :D
ReplyDeleteThank you, Hannah! It was such a great idea of yours to add the voice effects in! :)
DeleteThis is so cute Steph! Voice effects were great, crazy that was all your voice, it worked out well! One piece of feedback moving forward, and I am guilty of this too, is to possibly adjust the volumes throughout so they are equal (the music was considerably louder than the speech). :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Georgia! Yes I noticed that with the volume, too - the music gets really loud and you end up turning the volume down and then can't hear the speech! Will change it for when I show the class :) Also will talk a bit slower next time so it is clearer!
DeleteI'm glad you pulled the voices off :) - very cool and I like how you have linked in other aspects of learning! I am sure your kids are going to love seeing this!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Heath! It was great learning how quickly we could create these resources and extra helpful that we can also use each others! :)
